1. Commitment to Accessible Service
PSW Pro is committed to providing a platform that is accessible to as many users as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe that accessible technology benefits everyone and we strive to follow recognized accessibility practices in our design and development.
This statement describes our accessibility goals, current practices, known limitations, and how to provide feedback.
2. Accessible Design Goals
Our accessibility goals include:
- Supporting keyboard navigation throughout the platform;
- Providing semantic HTML structure for assistive technologies;
- Maintaining readable colour contrast for text and interactive elements;
- Allowing browser text resizing without breaking layout;
- Ensuring forms have proper labels and error messages;
- Designing responsive layouts that work across device sizes.
3. Keyboard Navigation
PSW Pro aims to support keyboard-only navigation. Users should be able to move through pages, links, buttons, and form fields using the Tab key and activate elements with Enter or Space. Visible focus indicators are maintained to help keyboard users identify their current position.
4. Screen-Reader Support
We use semantic HTML elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate to help screen readers interpret page content. We continue to work on improving the screen-reader experience across all platform features.
5. Colour Contrast
We aim to maintain colour-contrast ratios that meet recognized accessibility guidelines for body text, headings, buttons, and interactive elements. If you encounter text that is difficult to read, please let us know.
6. Text Resizing
PSW Pro is designed to allow users to resize text using browser zoom or font-size settings without major loss of content or functionality.
7. Form Labels and Errors
Forms throughout the platform aim to include descriptive labels, clear instructions, and understandable error messages to help users complete tasks accurately.
8. Mobile Responsiveness
The platform is designed to be responsive, adapting to different screen sizes from mobile phones to desktop computers. Mobile users should be able to access core features without horizontal scrolling.
9. Alternative Formats
If you need information from PSW Pro in an alternative format, contact support@pswpro.ca. We will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible alternatives.
10. Known Limitations
While we strive for accessibility, we recognize that some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet all accessibility guidelines. Known limitations may include:
- Some third-party integrations or embedded content may have their own accessibility characteristics that we do not fully control;
- Certain complex data tables or interactive components may present challenges for some assistive technologies;
- Newly released features may need refinement based on user feedback.
We are working to address these limitations and appreciate reports from users who encounter barriers.
11. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We will continue to review, test, and improve the platform based on feedback, evolving standards, and best practices. We do not claim independent WCAG certification, but we aim to follow recognized accessibility practices.
12. Accessibility Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. Your feedback helps us identify and prioritize improvements.
