1. Overview
This policy explains how subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds work on PSW Pro. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you have questions, contact support@pswpro.ca.
2. Plans and Pricing
PSW Pro offers the following plans:
- Free Plan — No cost. Includes core features for managing clients, scheduling, care notes, and basic reports.
- Pro Monthly — CA$29/mo, billed monthly in advance. Includes all premium features.
- Pro Annual — CA$278/yr, billed annually in advance. Includes all premium features at a savings compared to monthly billing.
Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are added where required by law. There are no hidden mandatory charges; any unavoidable fees are disclosed before purchase.
For a detailed feature comparison, see our Feature and Plan Comparison page.
3. Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.
When you purchase a subscription, you agree to:
- Pay the price displayed at checkout;
- Pay applicable taxes and clearly disclosed charges;
- Provide a valid payment method;
- Keep billing information current;
- Authorize PSW Pro and its payment processor to charge the applicable amount.
4. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew for successive periods equal to the original billing period until cancelled.
By purchasing an automatically renewing subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current subscription price, plus applicable taxes and disclosed fees.
You may cancel automatic renewal through the account settings or by contacting support@pswpro.ca. Cancellation must be completed before the next renewal date to prevent the next recurring charge.
5. Free Trials and Promotions
PSW Pro may offer promotional access, discounts, or trial periods from time to time. Eligibility, duration, available features, and other conditions will be stated when the offer is made.
Unless clearly disclosed and authorized during registration, a free trial will not convert into a paid subscription without an agreed payment arrangement. If automatic conversion is disclosed, you must cancel before the stated deadline to avoid the next charge.
Promotional offers may be limited to new customers, one account, one organization, or a specified period.
6. Upgrades and Downgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through the account settings or by contacting support.
Plan changes take effect according to the following general rules:
- Upgrades: If you upgrade to a higher-tier plan, the new plan and its features become available promptly. Any price difference may be prorated or charged at the next billing cycle, depending on the payment arrangement.
- Downgrades: If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, the change typically takes effect at the start of the next billing period. Your current paid features remain available until the end of the prepaid period.
Contact support@pswpro.ca if you need assistance with a plan change.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through available account settings or by contacting support@pswpro.ca.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- Cancellation stops future automatic renewals;
- Your paid access continues until the end of the current prepaid billing period;
- Cancelling does not normally generate a prorated refund for unused time;
- Your account may be moved to a free plan, restricted, or closed after the paid period ends.
Deleting the application, ceasing to use the Services, or removing a payment method does not necessarily cancel a subscription. You must complete the cancellation process or obtain confirmation from PSW Pro.
Account closure is different from subscription cancellation. Closing your account may permanently affect your ability to access data. See our Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy for more information.
8. Refund Eligibility
Except where required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable after the paid billing period begins.
We may consider refund requests involving:
- Duplicate charges;
- Verified billing errors;
- Unauthorized transactions reported promptly;
- Extended service failures primarily caused by PSW Pro; or
- Other exceptional circumstances.
Approval of one refund does not create an obligation to approve future refunds.
For annual subscriptions, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for unused full months remaining on the subscription, subject to review and at PSW Pro's discretion. Prorated refunds for partial months are not guaranteed.
9. Failed Payments
If a payment fails or becomes overdue, we may:
- Retry the payment method;
- Ask you to provide another payment method;
- Restrict access to paid features;
- Downgrade the account to a free plan;
- Suspend the account; or
- Terminate the subscription after reasonable notice.
You remain responsible for valid outstanding charges incurred before suspension or cancellation.
10. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices, included features, limits, or plan structures. Price changes will not normally affect a prepaid billing period already underway.
We will provide reasonable advance notice before applying a price increase to a renewal, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect. If you continue the subscription after the effective date, you authorize renewal at the updated price.
11. Chargebacks
You must not initiate an unjustified chargeback. Contact us first if you believe a charge is incorrect. This does not limit any lawful right to dispute a charge through your financial institution.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy removes a cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a mandatory consumer-protection requirement applies, it prevails to the extent of any conflict.
